Test Instructions of SF6 Gas Density Relay Calibrator

Table of Content [Hide]

The SF6 gas density relay calibrator is suitable for the detection of the SF6 gas density relay in power supply enterprises, high-voltage switch factories, infrastructure installations, scientific research and commissioning units.

    1. Profile of the SF6 relay

It is an instrument specially designed for detecting various forms of SF6 gas density relays. Its main function is to measure the operating pressure of the SF6 gas density relay contact, and automatically convert the SF6 gas pressure value and temperature value locked by the SF6 gas density relay calibrator into the standard pressure corresponding to 20°C according to the contact action.

    2. Test instructions of the SF6 density relay calibrator

    (1) Pressure return error

The pressure return error should not be greater than the absolute value of the allowable error of the pressure indication.

    (2) Temperature measurement error

The temperature measurement error of the SF6 density relay should not exceed ±0.5℃.

    (3) P20 indication error

The P20 indication error displayed by the tested instrument should not exceed the allowable error of the pressure indication. The P20 value refers to the pressure value of SF6 gas at 20°C under the condition that the density of sf6 gas remains unchanged.

    (4) Contact error

The contact error of the tested instrument should not exceed the allowable error of the contact value. Contact error refers to the difference between the contact setting value of the tested instrument and the P20 value calculated by the standard device according to the measured pressure value and temperature value of the contact point of the tested instrument.

    (5) General technical requirements

The SF6 density relay calibrator should be marked with the product name, model specification, manufacturer or trademark, factory number, and date of manufacture.

The valve knob, switch, connection (plug-in) on the instrument should be marked with names. The assembly should be firm. Also, the function should normal, and there should be no looseness and damage.

The displayed values and symbols should be clear instead of lacking letters, overlapping characters or uneven brightness. The SF6 density relay panel should not have defects that affect the reading.

When the input pressure causes a contact to act, the instrument should be able to lock the pressure value and temperature value at the moment when the corresponding contact acts on the display.

    (6) Detection conditions

The standard device consists of pressure measurement, temperature measurement and P20 conversion. Each link should meet the following requirements: The absolute value of the allowable error of pressure measurement should be less than 1/3 of the absolute value of the allowable error of the pressure indication value of the tested instrument. The allowable error of temperature measurement of the SF6 density relay should not exceed ±0.5℃. The calculation error of P20 should be less than 0.0001MPa.

    (7) Test result processing

The data collected from the test needs to be rounded after calculation, and it should be rounded to the last digit to be consistent with the resolution of the test meter. A test report of the tested SF6 gas density relay calibrator should be provided.

    (8) Detection cycle

The detection cycle of the SF6 gas density relay calibrator is 1 year.
