SF6 Relay Fully Automatic Tester: Reliable Guarantee for Power System

    The SF6 relay calibrator is an intelligent calibration instrument. The calibrator uses an embedded microprocessor to perform performance calibration on various SF6 relays and standardize the pressure of SF6 gas at any ambient temperature. It is mainly used for the production, maintenance and monitoring of SF6 gas products. The SF6 relay is one of the key components of the SF6 electrical switch. It is used to detect the changes in the density of SF6 gas in the body of the SF6 electrical equipment. Its performance directly affects the reliable and safe operation of the SF6 electrical equipment. Each SF6 electrical switch user unit should regularly calibrate the SF6 relay. From the actual operation situation, regular calibration of the SF6 relay on site is one of the necessary means to prevent problems before they happen and ensure the safe and reliable operation of power equipment.


    In a sealed container, the SF6 gas pressure at a certain temperature can represent the SF6 gas density. In order to achieve uniformity, it is customary to take the pressure of SF6 gas at 20℃ as the representative value of its corresponding density. Therefore, SF6 relays all use the pressure of SF6 gas at 20℃ as the scale value. During on-site calibration, the measured pressure values at different ambient temperatures must be converted to the corresponding standard pressure values at 20℃ to determine the performance of the SF6 relay. The SF6 relay calibrator automatically completes this process, which is both accurate and flexible.


    Main Functions of SF6 Relay Calibrator


    Measure the pressure values of the alarm action and release of various SF6 relays at any ambient temperature, and automatically convert them into the corresponding standard pressure values at 20℃ to realize the alarm performance calibration of SF6 relays.


    Measure the locking action and release pressure values of various SF6 relays at any ambient temperature, and automatically convert them into the corresponding standard pressure values at 20℃ to realize the locking performance calibration of SF6 relays.


    If the calibrated SF6 relay is equipped with a pressure gauge or density gauge, the calibrator can also calibrate the accuracy of the pressure gauge or density gauge.

    Main Features of SF6 Relay Calibrator


    This calibrator absorbs the advanced experience of similar domestic products and uses advanced and accurate mathematical models of the relationship between SF6 gas pressure and temperature. It is a SF6 relay calibration equipment designed according to the needs of field testing. It adopts embedded microcomputer technology and uses imported high-performance pressure and temperature sensors to solve the current problem of difficult field calibration of SF6 relays. The calibrator simultaneously samples the gas pressure and temperature when the relay under test is actuated, and automatically converts it into the standard pressure value at 20℃, thereby completing the dynamic automatic compensation of pressure and temperature. Therefore, the calibrator does not require the constant temperature chamber used in traditional experimental methods, and avoids the waste of a large amount of SF6 gas.
