Lanso Instruments Launches Safety Production Month Activities

As part of China's 2026 National Safety Production Month campaign, themed "Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response — Identifying and Eliminating Potential Risks and Hazards," Lanso Konly (Shanghai) Instruments Co., Ltd. and Lanso Konly (Jiaxing) Instruments Co., Ltd. organized a series of safety training programs and practical emergency drills.

Focusing on key workplace risks such as electrical safety, gas usage, fire prevention, and electric shock hazards in factories, workshops, and laboratories, the initiative engaged all employees in comprehensive safety education and hands-on exercises, further strengthening the company's safety management system and emergency preparedness capabilities.

1.Safety Awareness Training to Enhance Risk Prevention

The program began with a company-wide safety training session. Employees participated in specialized workshops and watched safety awareness videos featuring real industrial accident cases related to electrical and fire hazards.

Safety managers provided detailed guidance on hazard identification, workplace risk assessment, and laboratory safety procedures. Through case studies and practical discussions, employees were encouraged to proactively identify potential safety risks in their daily work and reinforce a strong culture of safety responsibility.

2.Fire Emergency Drill Improves Evacuation and Firefighting Skills

On June 15 and June 18, both facilities conducted comprehensive fire emergency drills.The exercise simulated a workshop fire scenario. Upon hearing the alarm, employees immediately followed emergency evacuation procedures and assembled at designated muster points. Personnel accountability checks were completed efficiently, ensuring that all employees were safely evacuated.

Following the evacuation exercise, safety officers conducted on-site training on the correct use of fire extinguishers. Employees took part in hands-on firefighting practice, extinguishing simulated fire sources and gaining practical experience in emergency fire response procedures.

3.Electric Shock First Aid Training Enhances Emergency Rescue Competence

The company also organized an electric shock emergency response drill based on a simulated electrical leakage accident involving a distribution cabinet.During the exercise, safety instructors emphasized the critical principle of "disconnecting the power source before providing assistance." Employees received training on casualty relocation procedures, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and emergency first aid techniques.

Through practical simulations, participants gained valuable experience in responding to electrical accidents and learned essential rescue skills that can help minimize injury and improve emergency outcomes.

4.Continuous Improvement Through Review and Corrective Actions

Following the drills, comprehensive evaluations and review sessions were conducted to assess the effectiveness of emergency plans, emergency equipment readiness, and cross-functional coordination capabilities.
